Chongqing hot pot, not Sichuan hot pot

My best friend is from Chongqing and she is so sick of hearing others talking about Sichuan hot pot. When talking about spicy and hot,  it seems that Sichuan is the first word to come up with. However, "Chongqinger" is the real lover of spicy hot pot. I went to main district of Chongqing for five to six times and the number of hot pot restaurants impressed me. Basically, in some areas, you can come across a hot pot restaurant every 20 meters and I guarantee you that every restaurant  is spicy and good. 

In China, different regions, in fact, develop different styles of hot pots in terms of stew base and the staff put in hotpot. Other hot pots will be talked later, and nowadays, in China, Chongqing hot pot maybe the most popular one. 

The first question would be "what is Chongqing hotpot". The question should be what is Chongqing traditional hotpot(重庆老火锅).  The soup base contains a variety of spices, herbs and several kinds of peppers, sichuan pepper in particular and most importantly, beef oil.                                                               Homemade Chongqing Hot pot:

1. Soup base from Chinese grocery store: 

      桥头,德庄,秋霞,  秦妈...
2. Top four dishes: beef offals[ baiye(omasum),maodu(reticulum)]; duck intestines; pork brain;beef aorta
3. Other: basically any meat and vegetables you like. No marshmallow. 
4. Dipping source: sesame oil + mashed garlic
5. Best with: weiyi( a yogurt drinking)

China translates all the foreign brands I

As someone may know, the first thing that international brands do to enter China's market is to name themselves Chinese version names. It turned out that some of them really did a great job on naming and let's have a look at some famous brands and their names in China. 1.coca cola(可口可乐) The translation is actually very good. The Chinese version sounds like the original one and it even conveys the idea that one drink can make people happy.  2.pepsi(百事可乐) Since Pepsi is a kind of coke, in the four-letter translation, the last two letters are the same meaning happy. But Pepsi did a even better job by saying that one drink can make everything going well. 3. Mcdonalds(麦当劳)                               Mcdonalds did worst than KFC in localisation, so it has less stores than KFC in China. The translation has no special meaning. As a matter of fact, it just sounds like a foreigner name. 4....
